WHAT WE BUILD

Commercial & Strategic
Conversion Platforms

The market can agree with the strategy and still never commit.

A company can have the right product, senior relationships,

a credible proposition, a large pipeline and board support.

None of the those things guarantees that much value will be realised.

Value disappears somewhere between strategic interest and commercial committment.

Our role is to establish which opportunities are genuinely capable of becoming

economic value, what prevents them from moving, and what intervention

will create commitment.

Opportunity

Is there a sufficiently important

problem, economic consequence

or strategic need to justify action?

Commitment

What has the counter party actually

done that makes withdrawal less

convenient than it was before?

Decision Route

Who controls the budget, approval,

procurement and implementation

through which committment occurs?

Realisation

How does the first commitment become durable revenue, strategic access, account expansion or enterprise value?

conditions?

Senior enthusiasm is not the same as institutional readiness.

Different people are asked to approve different versions of the same

decision. The proposition changes as it travels. Objections emerge late.

Ownership is unclear. No one can defend it when the sponsor is absent.

The objective is not to remove objection.

It is to make the proposition stronger

after objection has occured.

A board does not approve enthusiasm.

It approves a decision it believes it can defend later.

An Engagement

From enthusiasm to decision readiness

SITUATION

INTERVENTION

DIAGNOSIS

HIDDEN CONSTRAINT

We reconstructed the decision from the institutional backwards. We mapped decision rights and veto points, separated claims from judgement, built an evidence chain, anticipated objections and created committee materials capable of travelling without the originating sponsor,

Uncertainty was made explicit, bounded and connected to contingencies and downsire responses.

The investment case, partnership case and board case were individually defensible, but they were not one coherent institutional case. Different

decision makers were being asked to

approve different

versions of

the same decision.

The problem, was not persuasion. It was transfer.

The proposal has been

developed around the people closest to the opportunity. As it moved towards formal approval, the decision changed. Finance questioned downside assumptions. The partner required greater certainty. Governance questions appeared that had not mattered in commercial discussions.

A founder led business was pursuing a strategically important commercial partnership alongside growth financing. Senior interest was strong. The economics were credible.

Neither was enough.

WHY IT WORKED

The proposition became harder to misunderstand

and harder to reject for the wrong reason. It could

now survive institutional scrutiny without the sponser

needing to carry it personally.

DECISION  EFFECT

Approval path shortened by 40%

Investor concerns preempted and

resolved.

Decision quality and governance

improved

Transaction moved from enthusiasm

to decision readiness.

What we build

[3]a_edited.png

Decision Narrative

Architecture

We define the decision

clearly and connect the

proposition to the

economic and strategic

consequences that

matter to the institution.

[3]b_edited.png

Evidence Chain

Design

We identify what must

be proven, by whom,

and how it holds under

challenge.

[3]c_edited.png

Stakeholder

Transfer Routes

We map the people,

committees and

departments through

which the decision

must travel.

[3]d_edited.png

Committee and

Board Materials

We build materials that

inform, persuade and

withstand scrutiny in

decision forums.

[3]e_edited.png

Assurance and

Objection Handling

We stress test the case,

address objections and

prepare responses that

stand up to challenge.

[3]f_edited.png

Authority and

Escalation Mapping

We clarify decision rights,

escalation points and

contingencies for a clear

path to approval.

Questions worth asking before the next review

1

How much of our pipeline would disappear if opportunities required evidence of buyer commitment rather thasn seller activity?

2

Which opportunities consume the most executive time without a credible route to a decision?

3

Which relationship gives us access but very little authority?

4

Where are we trying to win the final transaction before earning the first institutional commitment?

Are we short of opportunity, or are we failing to convert the opportunity we already  have?

5

Which smaller opportunity could change our market position more than the largest deal in the pipeline?

6

Which partner benefits economically whether the transaction closes or not?

How we work

Diagnose the

decision

We interview key stakeholders, map the decision structure and identify points where confidence is lost or value is at risk.

Build the

proof system

We design the narrative,

evidence chain, stakeholder

routes and materials that

create clarity, conviction and

institutional durability.

Prepare the institution

to decide

We equip leaders and teams

for committee scrutiny,

rehearse tough questions and

refine materials until the case

is decision ready.
